I loved this sweet retelling, and was pleasantly impressed with how well the characters were developed and the story played out, drawing the reader in, and allowing the characters to captivate my heart as well as my attention in their brief yet beautiful story! With themes of unconditional love, redemption, and new beginnings, I loved that this story really allowed for their story to play out, even if it is just a novella. Series Cont.? N/a (well, it's in the same 'world' as the Rook Di Goo series, but is a stand alone) Plot: Can a girl from the streets and a boy who's worked his way up the ranks truly find love together?
Overall: A short story with a love story that is both beautiful and heartbreaking in it's journey.Ĭharacters: Instant favorites, and well portrayed!
